Suspected Leak

February 03, 2026

We have detected unusual drawdown in the water storage tanks at the Pendleton Water Treatment Plant, which may indicate a possible leak in the distribution area.

What this means for you:

  • Water service remains available, but pressure may be lower than normal in some areas.
  • We are actively inspecting the system to locate the source of the potential leak.
  • Please limit non-essential water use to help maintan adequate supply for all customers.

Next steps:

  • Field crews are conducting leak detection and valve checks.
  • If a leak is confirmed, repairs will begin asap.
  • We will provide updates as soon as more information is available.

Currently there are no water quality issue concerns, but if issues arise, we will notify you right away.

Please contact the PWA office with questions or to report a leak found on or around your property.
